Important Information for Purchasers

TIMED ONLINE AUCTIONS
The sale is subject to the ‘Terms & Conditions of Sale’ as listed online and accepted, & agreed to, upon registration for each auction. Commencing at the ‘End Time’ stated, bidding will close, for most auctions, at 30 second intervals per lot, to allow you to manage your bids across multiple lots. Please note, if a bid is received in the final minute of a timed auction, the clock resets back to sixty seconds, in order to give other bidders an opportunity to respond.

AUCTION ESTIMATES
Estimates are shown for each lot in the auction. All amounts are in Euro. The figures shown are provided merely as a guide to prospective buyers. They are approximate prices which are expected, are not definitive and are subject to revision.

BUYERS PREMIUM
Buyers are reminded that there is a Buyers Premium payable to the auctioneer on the final bid price of each lot. The Buyer shall pay a commission to the auctioneer, viz. a Buyers Premium of 27.5% (inclusive of Vat) on the hammer price of each lot. The auctioneers are happy to execute bids on behalf of the buyer, but if successful, the purchase price payable will be the final bid price, together with the VAT inclusive premium chargeable thereon. Furthermore, the Buyer acknowledges that the Auctioneer may also receive a commission from the Vendor. The Buyer’s Premium is a Vat inclusive charge on every lot sold in the auction and all lots are sold within the Revenue Commissioners Auctioneers' Vat Margin Scheme”. Revenue Regulations require that the Buyers Premium must be invoiced at a rate which is inclusive of VAT and further requires that this VAT is not recoverable by any VAT registered buyer.

All goods must be paid for in full before collection. All accounts must be discharged by account transfer or Card Payment. Payment may be made by electronic transfer of funds to Dolan’s bank account, and full details are available on request. Credit & Debit cards are both accepted. The Auctioneers are happy to provide additional images and details of all items on request. Please note that imperfections are not stated. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ascertain the condition of any or all goods offered for sale in the auction. The auctioneer is happy to provide a Condition Report on any lot in the auction. While we make certain observations on the lot, which are intended to be helpful, references in the Condition Report to damage or restoration are for guidance only and should be evaluated by the bidder or a knowledgeable agent on the bidder's behalf. The absence of such a reference does not imply that an item is free from defects or restoration, nor does a reference to particular defects imply the absence of any other defects. The Condition Report is an expression of opinion only and must not be treated as a statement of fact. Each buyer, by making a bid for a lot, acknowledges that they have examined and inspected any and all photographs of the lot and acknowledges that they have satisfied themselves fully before bidding, as to the Terms & Conditions of Sale and as to the physical condition and description of the lot, including but not restricted, to whether the lot is damaged or has been repaired. Enter your Maximum Bid, i.e. the highest amount youre willing to bid for a particular lot in the auction. The system will automatically raise your bid, only as much as is needed, for you to remain the highest bidder and only up to your chosen Maximum Bid, which does not include the buyers commission (VAT Inclusive) payable on all lots.

Please note that all Maximum Bids are confidential and are not disclosed. The system will endeavour to purchase your lot at the lowest hammer price, as is permitted by other bids or reserves, if any, and subject to the Terms and Conditions of Sale, and the auctioneer disclaims responsibility for any failure, for whatever reason, in this regard.

The system will advance your bid automatically, on your behalf, only when required, up to the maximum you have chosen. This means that you may win an item for less than your maximum bid, but it also means that you can be outbid if someone else enters a higher Maximum Bid. If you are outbid for a lot, an email will be sent to you to notify you and to invite you to increase your Maximum Bid. Please note, if a bid is received in the final minute of a timed auction, the clock resets back to sixty seconds, in order to give other bidders an opportunity to respond.
