Yvonne King studied oil painting and drawing with the painter Douglas Anderson, later studying traditional Chinese brush work at The Hong Kong Academy of Fine Arts. Studying and painting for many years, Yvonne is a member of Visual Artists Ireland, and constantly draws inspiration from the landscape and energy of Connemara. She has painted and exhibited at home and abroad, from the Netherlands to Cape Cod, Boston and California. Her work is included in many collections including that of former Taosieach Enda Kenny, the Mayor of Boston & former US Ambassador to Ireland, Kevin O’Malley.
