Syra Larkin studied art at Hammersmith College of Art London in the early 1970’s and has been working in Ireland since 1971. She has taken part in many of the major open submission exhibitions in this country and has had work in both solo and group exhibition in Ireland, America, Spain, Italy, France and England. In 2004 she was nominated to take part in the 2005 Florence Biennale. Her work is to be found in both private and corporate collections, and her distinctive contemporary figurative work is worthy of serious attention.
