Maggie Morrisson was born in Dublin and attended the National College of Art, before going on to study Fine Art at the University of Southern Illinois. She has exhibited regularly throughout Ireland since 1989, including the Crawford Gallery Cork and the Royal Hibernian Academy. A substantial contemporary artist, she is greatly influenced by her surroundings on the Western Seaboard and has received many awards for her striking contemporary work.
