Jennifer Kingston graduated from NCAD and became involved in the textile movement of the 1980’s, exhibiting in Ireland and abroad. In the 1990’s, she returned to oil painting, and had her first major solo show in 2001. A frequent exhibitor at the RHA and Oireachtas exhibitions, her work is included in the collections of AIB, Ulster Bank, OPW and the Department of Foreign Affairs. Jennifer is the widow of Richard Kingston, who was a senior member of the RHA and his influence can be seen in her painting. Her work is clearly that of an accomplished hand.
