Born in Cork in 1977, Gordon Harris now lives and works with his family in Galway. A self taught artist, Harris often works on a large scale and his landscapes and figurative studies have become increasingly familiar to a wider audience. His evocative work captures the strength and mood of the landscape, with a sense of power and movement. His use of silver leaf creates a dramatic contemporary view of the landscape.
