Galina Reshotka b.1964

Born in 1964, Galina, whose parents were both Professors at the University of St Petersburg, painted birds from an early age.She first chose to study music, attending the Academy Of Music for six years. Self taught as an artist, she had five solo exhibitions in St.Petersburg, together with a solo show in Vancouver, Canada. Confirmation of her worth fuelled her resolve to attain a qualification in visual art. This she successfully did at The Hermitage, in St. Petersburg, where she studied as a mature student for three years. Exhibiting in Ireland for the past five years, her detailed depiction of birds and nature are known to many collectors.
