Born in Dublin in 1950, Paul Guilfoyle, in his youth, spent many holidays on the west coast of Ireland, in the beautiful, unspoilt nature of Connemara. As an artist he has sought to evoke this rugged beauty on canvas. His work is represented in many major collections and he has exhibited widely.
