Born in 1965, David Paton attended the National College of Art and Design. He has always had a great interest in horses and hunts with the local packs from which he draws much of his inspiration. He has exhibited with the Society of Equestrian Artists at Newmarket and has been influenced by Peter Curling and Alfred Munnings. He divides his time between running an equestrian yard, painting and illustrating.
