Becky Sheldon was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, graduating from the University of Regina in 2004. Despite specializing in sculpture at university, where she was particularly interested in quit-making and textile art, Becky focused on oil painting and her fascination with quilt-making and textiles is reflected in her art.
